Join us on Thursday, April 18th for a spring filled Serenade! Bright spring produce, whole roasted lamb and fresh new music! Winter is finally transitioning into Spring, and we’re running towards it with open arms. This Serenade we are featuring the multi-talented Chef Sarah Schneider of the Nightwood Society. Sarah is a pillar of the Portland food scene, championing women, local farmers, and all things delicious. She worked in groundbreaking kitchens from San Francisco to New York City, in addition to traveling the world as a chef on a cruise ship. Sarah’s creative energy now reigns as the Nightwood Society’s kitchen queen and butcher. Her menu will be a celebration of bright spring produce complete with a whole roasted lamb.
It’s our pleasure to feature another local Portland favorite, the husband and wife duo DEAN! DEAN! is a soul/pop band born from the minds of Luke and Rachel Price. Music born from the diverse influences of vintage Soul, old Pop, Americana, their cat named Biscuits, donuts and fried chicken. DEAN!’s raw harmonies and soul-influenced guitar, culminate in undeniable chemistry. With two voices and an old electric hollow-body, they create music that is honest, timeless, yet uniquely new.
Serenade is a pop-up series featuring chefs and musicians in unique settings to create a sensory experience unlike anything else. Equal focus is placed on both the chefs and musicians to break down barriers and foster participation and community. We look forward to Serenading you soon.
