Sister Serenade

  • Tournant 920 Northeast Glisan Street Portland, OR, 97232 United States (map)

Sweater season may be in the air, but we are keeping it toasty at Serenade. Join us on November 9th as we reunite with two of our favorite chefs, Mona and Jaret of Tournant, for a feast to remember! We'll be blending warm Morrocan flavors with Pacific Northwest influences to create a culinary experience centered around a delicious tagine. Tagine is a term used to describe a North African stew made with meat and vegetables and swimming in spices. Named for the cone shaped pot it is cooked in, this flavorful dish will warm you from the inside out.

The night’s featured musical guest are the T Sisters! The T Sisters, born and raised in California and now based in the creative hub of Oakland, embody harmony. It’s in their blood, bones, and history. Erika, Rachel and Chloe have been singing and writing music together since childhood, and the lifetime of practice shows. Their sound represents a continuum of music, from traditional to pop influences, with moments of breathtaking a cappella to swells of energetic indie Americana. Through their music and performance, the sisters seek not only to share their personal art and stories, but also to connect people in this deeply divided world through harmony and to empower young girls to live confidently and share their own art and stories with the world. T Sisters at Tournant with Tagine!? What more could you ask for??
